Default Solo Necro Weapon Question

I'm messing around with that 55hp SS solo build. Soon i'm going to look into playing with the AotL solo build.

But my question is what is the best weapon to use for solo necro builds? I keep hearing about this HoD sword and the Enchantmens last 20% longer, which sounds very nice to me. But I want to see what you guys think is the best weapon to use. I know the HoD sword is very expensive, but I would consider buying it if it is the absolute best weapon to use.

Unless of course there is other weapons out there that are just as good, but cheaper.

The necro collector wand outside of Dunes of Despair is decent.

Yeah I know about that one, but wouldnt something with an enchantment/energy mods be better than that?

The collector wand works perfectly...20% recharge is a nice mod to have. Your taking massive damage, and leeching nrg from each hit, So the recharge rate is more important then an energy boost mod i.e. +5 nrg while enchanted.
This is my personal preference, and I have tried 10/10 morgriff vs Aatxe and find that the 10% fast cast dampens my ability to get a successful SS off due to the fact that HB gets insta-cast, where as SS with 2 sec cast isnt . You want the Aatxe to interrupt Healing breeze/guardian and not your SS. Therefore your gonna want to lure the savage slashes into HB or guardian with their 1 sec cast times and not your SS with the 2 sec cast time.
A sword with enhant pommel will put u in a bind vs DN's. Ya an extra 2 secs on your enchants would be nice but with the attirbute set up I posted in another thread you should have absolutely NP keeping everything running and staying alive vs 2 or more enemies at a time.

Thanks for the info. As of right now, I don't really have plans to solo the UW. I mostly just want to solo certain areas of the main map that I havent been able to reach with henches. So I thought that with the enemies generally being a little easier than they are in the UW, the 20% longer enchantment mod might be more valuable that the 20% recharge.
